Hydrovac Operators

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We’re expanding! Metro Infrastructure Inc. has been in business for over 5 years servicing the GTA and is currently seeking to fulfill open vacancies for skilled Hydrovac Operators within Ontario.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daylighting
• Digging
• Performing daily circle checks per unit(s) per company policies and procedures
• Set up and inspection of grounding per job site
• Complete all daily paperwork
• General housekeeping on unit(s)
• Other duties, as required

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Minimum 1-year experience in Hydrovac Operation
• Clean driver’s abstract with a valid AZ Ontario Driver’s license
• Ability to operate an 18 speed
• Heavy lifting may be required >50lbs
• Good standing Local 183 Union Member or ability to join
• Open availability Monday to Friday, with weekend and after hours (nights) availability, as needed
• Ability to communicate fluently in English (reading and writing required)
• Candidate must be in possession of the following certificates:

Working At Heights, WHMIS, First Aid, Lock Out Tag Out, Confined Space (through Hazmasters, Liuna Local 183, IHSA, Inward Safety applicable)
