The ION bus rapid transit service launched in September 2015, with the ION light rail connecting Conestoga Station in Waterloo to Fairway Station in Kitchener. Spanning over 17 kilometers, the route includes 19 stations. Today, it links to Union station in Toronto Metro Infrastructure played a key role in revitalizing infrastructure that was over 100 years old, often replacing outdated cables.

By collaborating with multiple utilities and coordinating access with other contractors, Metro Infrastructure was essential in ensuring the successful completion of this project. We are proud to have contributed to the growth of the regions impacted by this major development.
